FAQ

Showers and Toilets?
Multiple toilets and showers on board. The bathing platform can be used with the available showerhead. We regularly visit ports with well-equipped sanitary facilities, giving you the chance to take more time for your personal hygiene if needed.
What do you need on a boat?
Your summer outfit, swim trunks, and for cooler evenings, loose pants and a sweater. Swim trunks or a bikini and sunglasses are a must! Otherwise, wear your summer clothes of choice and sturdy shoes for excursions. Don’t forget a hat and essential items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, and shampoo (preferably sustainable and biodegradable). Remember your documents and personal medications. There won’t be an outlet for a hairdryer on board. Towels are provided. Use a bag instead of a suitcase to save space. A detailed packing list will follow!
What about cabin assignments?
Our sailing yachts usually offer space for 2 people in almost all cabins. If you’re coming with someone, we’ll assign you together. If you’re coming alone, let us know your preferences in advance. We also try not to separate groups traveling together, even if there are multiple boats. The final assignment will be communicated a week in advance. Alternatively, there are some spots on deck – including a hammock under the starry sky.
How to reach the starting port?
The decision is yours! Travel by plane or road trip. Groups always form among our trips for those traveling by car, and you can join them. The important thing is to arrive at the starting port on Saturday. Tip: Arrive a few days earlier and explore the mainland while you’re there.
What to expect?
Yatour Cruises is a sailing vacation for the active, adventurous, and those who love meeting new people. No lazy week in an all-inclusive hotel! Whether you’re an experienced sailor or not, it doesn’t matter. All our trips benefit from our experience, continuously expanding since 2015. Onboard, we share unforgettable moments and sail to the most beautiful spots in the region. During the day, we explore bays, islands, cliffs, caves, and harbors in glorious sunshine – including restaurant visits. At night, you sleep under an even more beautiful starry sky. Central to the experience is always a sense of community. Sailing requires teamwork. We go hand in hand. The team works together during sailing, anchoring, and cooking, keeping the boat clean. We cook, laugh, and dance together – but there’s also plenty of space for quiet moments alone. Whether you come alone, with your partner, or friends – you’ll feel at home on board! Our team and all fellow travelers share the desire to experience something special and have a great time together! Our trips set sail with sailing yachts or catamarans. We always disembark as a family. And, of course, we always have photographers on board to capture those unforgettable vacation moments.
Alcohol in moderation
Feel free to enjoy a glass of wine or a Mojito on board – after all, we’re not your parents. However, our focus is on mindful sailing and experiencing the marine habitat. We aim to create weeks that are not only good for the soul but also for the body.
Don’t worry, we’re not party poopers! Having a casual drink is totally fine. But we encourage responsible enjoyment because our guests appreciate the conscious break. Some even say they love coming back for the alcohol-free atmosphere. We call it: clear minds, fresh breezes, and unforgettable experiences at sea. Cheers to a mindful week! 🌊⚓🥂
Do you guarantee the itinerary on the route?
On the website an example itinerary can be found.
There are no set times for departure and no set itinerary. That is why we have “Example itinerary and activities” listed on the website that can be changed on a daily basis depending on numerous factors and for any reason especially where it is deemed necessary. Unfortunately this happens in nautical adventure tourism and with this type of travel nothing will ever be perfect. There are so many factors that can cause challenges from weather, yacht, 3rd party activity operators, issues at restaurants and bars etc.
Due to the nature of sailing the skipper of all our yacht/boat reserves the right to change course from any particular itinerary
